Patricia comes to Hard Edge from a lifelong career as a Geologist/Environmental Scientist. While working at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission she oversaw oil and gas companies required to clean up spills and pollution on their sites, along with the Commission’s Clean Water Act program; then originated and managed the state oilfield Brownsfield program reclaiming legacy oilfield polluted sites.
When she retired from the Commission she split her time between helping her daughter manage the growing family business and being active in the Norman Community. Patricia does community and charity work with Rotary, where she is club Secretary; fosters orphaned, ill, and infant kittens for the Animal Shelter and Hands Helping Paws; and taught English as a second language to local adults in the Norman Library’s Literacy program.
Leonard also comes to Hard Edge from a career as a geologist. With an early background in Oil Field work, he transitioned to work for the state as a Project Environmental Analyst, running Oklahoma's ORBCA classes for Environmental Consultants
When Leonard retired, he went to work helping his daughter run Hard Edge. He spends half his days at the shop and half at home helping his wife care for foster animals and spending time in his woodworking studio.
Deborah has a background in theater, administrative work, and costuming. She got into garment decoration in her early 20's, and started her own business in 2009. In late 2014 she went full time, turning her one-woman business into a family business by taking over an embroidery shop.
Her experience with online business served her well, as she brought the company into Amazon's Custom Products program during its Beta phase.
She is the resident Excel guru, managing more than 4 million products, and frequently burns the midnight oil developing new processes and products.
